Study Abroad Financial Solutions and Scholarships

It is important for students to prepare at least year in advance to plan and access all possible funding support available for them. Here is list of possible funding support and links.

FAFSA or CADAA

Fill out FAFSA or CADAA for Summer Pell Grant (priority deadline early March)

  • Institutional Aid 
    • For UC San Diego students, a supplemental Summer Grant is available of approximately $2,000 for eligible students with financial need and a minimum of 6 units (subject to annual review of available funding)
    • Summer Pell Grant and unused Federal Loans from the academic year will be offered
