Support the efforts, initiatives and growth of the Latin American Studies program! 

The Latin American Studies program at UC San Diego began in 1971 and was established to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the study of Latin American societies, cultures, and politics. The program continued to evolve over the years to become a meeting point across cultures and borders and an understanding of the North by the South. 

Every students is given the opportunity to visit South America, study abroad or conduct research to enrich their knowledge with human life experiences and shifted perspectives on the world.
