Latin American Studies blends interdisciplinary methodological and theoretical approaches to the study of Latin America with a broad foundation in the humanities and social sciences.  The curriculum is diverse and challenging, offering students a competitive edge in the job market and a bright future. Students majoring in Latin American Studies often minor or double major in a related discipline such as anthropology, economics, history, literature, political science, or sociology.

Common career paths post-graduation include:

  • Art or art history with a specialization in Latin American art
